Mind Movie: A Horror Story Tang Chao

The image installation Mind Movie: A Horror Story consists of a set of 200 split-screen storyboards, in which the characters and scenes are derived from the Japanese horror film The Ring, deconstructed and reorganized by digital modeling technology, and then linked by the indicator arrow of the running screen in the split-screen script to form a new narrative belonging to the information age. Sadako, the main character, has experienced the transition from tube television to the high-definition digital era, and projects her own fear of the iteration of image technology.
