Description

Potted with a squarely round opening and an everted rim, a shallow curved belly, and a flat bottom, it is supported on a foot ring and covered overall in sky blue glaze, resembling the azure blue lake; several purple splashes are dipped over the body with various shapes and different gradations like an abstract ink painting, presenting an ethereal beauty. Three spur marks are visible at the bottom; and the foot ring is neatly trimmed and left unglazed to expose its iron black biscuit.
