Description

With a uniquely original form, the bottle is comprised with two joined sections. With a flare rim, a sturdy neck tapering down slightly with a frieze of bas-relief at the bottom, a sloping shoulder with a pair of Ruyi-shaped handles, a round body and a foot-ring pasted to the base which has a broad and flat shoulder, sloping body and a narrow foot divided by five vertical ridges and decorated by openwork of floral design, the bottle is covered overall in sky blue glaze, only leaving its light brown biscuit base bottom exposed. The body is tinted by large areas of purple spots, as well as the base. The purple spots faint and blend into the sky blue background as gradating from purple to aubergine and to indigo, with various changes of different shades.
