Introduction
The Deji Art Museum aims to cultivate children’s optimistic, positive, and open artistic spirit through experiential art activities and artistic play activities, enhancing their artistic literacy and appreciation abilities, while encouraging them to explore creatively and express boldly.
During the May Day holiday, the Deji Art Museum invited over a hundred parent-child families from BMW to participate in this public education course. The children, dressed in ancient-style costumes, embarked on a ‘Jinling Magical Encounter’ accompanied by teachers and parents, spending a fulfilling and unforgettable May Day holiday at the Deji Art Museum, experiencing the profound Chinese culture and discovering the charm of art.
The public education courses are divided into three stations: experiencing the ancient pulse of the historical city of Nanjing through the ‘Jinling Map’; admiring 50 exquisite pieces of Song porcelain in the ‘Imperial Song’ exhibition hall, catching a glimpse of the brilliant ‘pearl’ of Chinese civilization; and exploring the changes of the seasons and the essence of life in the Deji Art Space.
