Introduction
With a straight opening rim, a straight neck, a sloping belly and a flat bottom, the dish is supported on a foot ring and is fully applied with sky blue glaze; its dark biscuit looms along the rim to present a brown colour; the interior wall is covered in purple splashes with blue, greyish blue, and green tints; the exterior wall is covered in thick milky glaze dripping down to the bottom of the belly to form a borderline between the glaze and the biscuit. The dark brown biscuit is exposed at the neatly trimmed foot; the foot ring is higher on the exterior and lower in the centre, resembling a jade disc, which is rare and precious.
