Introduction
It has a flared eight-lobed chrysanthemum mouth, a sloping neck running down to the half-length of the body, lobed in eight petals with ridges appearing on the interior, a fuller globular belly and a round bottom supported on a round splayed foot ring. It is fully covered in white glaze, with the texture and grain of biscuit looming from the below, giving a shimmering white gloss and a light yellow tint, and leaving its white biscuit exposed at the bottom on which“by doner ZHU, Liang, twenty”was inked.
It is formed after the bronze Zun, in the early and middle Western Zhou Dynasty, with some adjustment based on the chrysanthemum-shaped gold and silver wares in the Tang Dynasty.
